To support the story of the busy, overworked, unappreciated Little Red Hen, this story bag contains the relevant props. A story book, a cow, a dog, a pig and the hen. Along with the knitted characters there is a watering can, some wheat, a bag of grain, a bag of ‘flour’ and a dough baked loaf of bread. The children will be able to ponder over the suggested moral of the story along with the possibility of exploring different outcomes when telling their own versions of the tale whilst using the props.
