This story, I am told, is one that children want to hear repeated over and over and over again! Whether it is due to the weird little troll character hiding under the wooden bridge or the effective tackling of this bully by the biggest of the goat brothers or the cuteness of the smallest goat, we grown-ups will never really know! Suffice it to say, the story teller needs effective props when having to retell this story at any given time. Along with the story book, there is the weird troll character, a small, medium and large goat, a wooden bridge, a ‘river’, lush grass and parched grass and a packet of seeds for the children to plant and grow.
